This park is located about half-way between Midland and Odessa. The park roads are pretty tight and the sites are relatively narrow. We didn't have enough room to open our awning and our slide out was right up against the picnic table on the adjacent site. It appears that most of the sites were occupied by permanent residents. The park was clean, as were the restrooms. The staff was very friendly. I would caution really big rigs to choose their sites carefully because of the tight quarters.

This is a really nice upscale RV resort on Table Rock Lake. It caters primarily to high-end Class A motor coaches, but Class C's and 5th wheels are allowed if they are at least 26 feet in length. The roads and sites are all paved and most of the sites have really nice landscaping. All of the people we met here, including staff, visitors, and site owners, were extremely friendly. The resort is a bit out in the boondocks, but that just adds to the beauty of it. We'll definitely come back.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever visited. We stayed at site 16 in Campground A. This site is a HUGE pull through with a view of the lake. The state of Arkansas has done a wonderful job of upgrading their parks to include 50 amp service and full hookups, like what we had in Camground A. I did check out campgrounds B and C, which were smaller and closer together. If you have the option of choosing your site, opt for a site in campground A. We checked the bathrooms and showers, and they were extremely clean. All of the employees here were extremely helpful and courteous. This is a first class campground. We can't wait to return!

We stayed here for an overnighter while traveling on IH-20. The campground is okay for a one night stop, but it has a few negatives. The campground is located adjacent to a Motel 6. On the night we camped here, there was a semi-truck parked at the motel about 50 feet from our rig. He had his generator/refrigeration unit running all night and it was loud. Much louder than the traffic noise from the nearby interstate highway. I realize this is not the fault of the park owners, but it does affect the quality of your camping experience when your site is located near the motel. Additionally, there were numerous cars going in and out of the motel at night and several boisterous people there. Another negative was the unfriendly nature of the employees at this park. We have stayed at places in the past that did not have the greatest amenities, but the friendly employees made the experience very nice. The opposite experience occurred at this park. We won't stay here again.

This park is located on the far west side of El Paso and is situated directly behind the Camping World RV center. There are no showers or bath houses, no pool, no Wi-Fi and no cable TV. The sites are huge pull-throughs. We stayed here the night before having maintenance work performed at the adjacent Camping World. It would make a good overnight stop for I-10 travelers. The camp hostess was extremely helpful and escorted us to our site. The park is basically an open sandy lot and not very picturesque.

This is a great park. The sites are concrete with ample space between vehicles. The layout of the park is nice. The staff and management are very friendly. I used the laundry facilities, and the building, washers, and dryers were spotless. This is by far the nicest park we have visited.

This is a first class park located in the middle of the city. The park is gated and surrounded by a large (attractive) concrete fence. The place is secure, with employees making the rounds often at night. If you are wanting to visit the French Quarter and downtown NOLA, then this is the place to stay. The employees are friendly and very willing to answer tourist questions. They will even give you a golf cart ride half the distance to the French Quarter, which is only about four blocks away. There is traffic and city noise here because you are located in the heart of an urban area and right next to IH-10. The park easily accomodates big rigs, and access to and from the interstate is easy.

This is a great park if you are planning to visit some of the many plantation homes between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. However, because of the quasi remote location, be sure that you stock up on groceries before arriving, as there are no stores in the immediate area. The park is nice and the bathrooms/showers were very clean. It appears the park caters to workers, as most of the sites appear to be long timers here to work along the Mississippi river in the numerous petro-chemical facilities. All campers we met camping near us were here for that purpose. Because most of the workers leave for work around 5:30am, the park is very quiet after 8:00pm. We had a very large concrete site. The water, electricity, and sewer connections were good. As stated in several other postings the cable TV did not work. The wireless internet connection was the fastest I have ever seen at a campground! My only complaint about this park is the poor reservation system they have. I called about a week before arrival to make a reservation, but was told I would have to do it online. So, I completed their online form and received a reply verifying my reservation. Because the park was off the beaten path and I wanted to be sure all was in order, about 24 hours prior to arrival I phoned to confirm that they had a spot for us, and I was informed that they were expecting us, our motorhome and toad. When we arrived at the park, we did not see an office to check-in, so we called on the phone. We were advised that the park was full and they had no room for us. We informed the manager(?) that we had reservations and he wanted to know if we worked for one of the local companies in the area. We again informed him that we had a reservation and that we had confirmed 24 hours previously. The manager then advised us to park in an assigned FHU spot. All in all it probably was not a big deal, but it was a hassle none the less.

We used this park for an overnight stop off of IH-10 near San Antonio. We called ahead from the road and requested a spot. Since we were arriving late, the very friendly manager told us to just pick a spot upon arrival and settle the bill in the morning. We parked in a long pull through site that did not require us to unhook the toad from our motorhome. The electrical box looked old and only had a 30 amp connection, but it checked out okay and provided sufficient power for our overnight stay. The free cable TV worked great and had many channels to select from. The park appears to have several permanent residents, some with pretty old travel trailers. The park was nicely situated along the river and had many shade trees. We would stay here again for a quick stop while traveling.

This is a parking area for RV's at the L'auberge Du Lac Casino in Lake Charles. The sites are back-ins with concrete pads, surrounded by grass. They have electric and water hook-ups, but no sewer connection. A dump station is on site. We were passing through the area on Interstate 10 and found this to be a good overnight stop. The casino offers several restaurants and a buffet. There is also a nice pool area at the hotel. The casino is very nice. This is nothing fancy, but they have done a nice job of creating a decent RV parking area at a casino that is a step above boondocking. It was very quiet here and appeared to be very safe with security making the rounds through the area. We'll definitely stay here again when passing through the area.

We stayed overnight while en route to Las Vegas. The desk employee was very friendly and handled our check-in quickly. We were escorted to our site, which was good because we arrived after dark and this place is huge! It would be easy to get lost without the park map. All of the interior roads and sites are dirt/gravel, but they are well maintained. The park lay out is in such a manner that there is lots of room between sites. The sites are arranged in a random pattern and are not your typical "cookie cutter" side-by-side arrangement. Very nice to have so much room. You can hear traffic noise because you are located at the intersection of Interstate Highways 8 and 10. You can also hear the train that passes nearby. The noise did not bother me, but it annoyed my wife enough that she slept with ear plugs. We did not use the showers or bathrooms. The Wi-Fi signal was a little weak at our site, but it worked well. This is a good overnight park that we will use again. The friendly folks that run it help make up for the highway noise.

This is an excellent park. The entire place is spotless! The location is extremely well situated for visiting casinos and attractions. Good store on site and lots of RV services available from local vendors (RV wash, oil change, etc). I would have given a "10", but I think it is ridiculous that they charge $5+ per day for Wi-Fi access.

This is a good spot for staying overnight while traveling on I-10. We were on the road late and called here to book a site. The desk employee was very helpful and gave good directions since we would be arriving in the dark after the office had closed. Our check-in information and a map to our site was waiting on the office door when we arrived. We had a very large gravel pull-through that accommodated our motorhome and toad. The site was long enough that we did not have to unhook the toad, which was nice since we were just staying for the night. We appreciated the cable TV connection since our satellite receiver had just gone out. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and worked great. This is a typical KOA, but it is well maintained and quiet. We'll stay here again while overnighting on our journeys on I-10.

This is a beautiful State Park. We had a pull through site which was shaded with pine trees. Although there were lots of trees, we still had a "view" for our satellite system. The showers are coin operated and had sufficient hot water, but were somewhat dirty with leftover socks, razors, and shampoo bottles littering the area. All of the park staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was a nice campground. We had a nice pull-through site which was big rig friendly and shaded. This camp ground has lots of trees and a creek running through it. It appears that all of the sites have picnic tables and fire rings. The employees were very nice and helpful. I had breakfast at the Kreekside Kafe and it was very good. The campground is located a few miles north of Ouray, but is very convenient to town, area Jeep trails as well as to Telluride and Ridgway. We will definitely stay here again.

My family and I decided to stay at this park after reading many of the positive reviews. We booked a three night stay in the "upper" loop with full hook-ups. Our site had no shade at all and the area consisted of a dry prairie type of grass. It was out in the open, hot, and not very picturesque. After one night we decided to relocate to a campground in Ouray, which was much cooler and more scenic. All of the utilities at the site worked great and the area was very clean. All park employees were very friendly. My main complaint with this park has to do with the close proximity to Hwy 550 which was very busy and NOISY! It also bothers me that the state of Colorado charges entry fees for both the motorhome and toad. This tends to negate the "good deal" which is usually associated with state park facilities.

This park is adequate, but nothing to brag about. The sites are very close together and they share hook-ups. Because of the shared hook-ups, you face your neighbor and are extremely close together, so not much privacy to be had. Luckily, the first night we stayed we had very nice neighbors and the second night the site next to us was empty. We did not use the restrooms and showers but I did check them out. They were smelly and rather dirty, making me glad that we had accommodations in the motorhome. There were a couple of teens that rode their loud off-road motorcycles into the campground on several occaisons and then they parked them inside of one of the rental cabins! If you plan to rent a cabin here check to see if it has been used for motorcycle storage! The free wi-fi was was sporadic. This is not a horrible campground, but it's definitely not a great campground.

We stayed in the "upper section" which has full hook-ups, but is not on the creek. The lower creekside sites are electric only and have lots of trees. Lots of tents and groups in the lower camping area. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We'll stay here again.

This is an excellent park for an overnight stay. We had a pull through site with 50 amp service. The site was very level and all utilities were in working order. The sites are close together, but this was not bad considering this was for a one night stay. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The RV park is about 7 miles from town right at the top of Raton Pass. Nice views. No pool or entertainment for kids. We'll definitely stay here again for an overnighter.

This is a very nice and quiet park. The sites are all large gravel pull throughs and are level. The bath/showers are spotless. The workers are extremely nice and helpful. The only negative is that this park is about 15-20 minutes from town and quite a bit further from the caverns. So, be sure that you have all groceries and supplies before arriving. We'll definitely stay here again.

This park is spotless! We stayed here for the New Year and were very impressed. The grass is like carpet, the sites and roads are concrete, and the bathrooms are immaculate. The Wi-Fi and cable worked flawlessly. The staff was very friendly. Overall the park is very quiet, but you can hear some truck noise from the interstate. We look forward to staying here again.
